Country Policy

The list of countries and territories available on backyourcountry.com is based on the ISO 3166-1 international standard.

Neutrality

• Inclusion of an entry does not constitute political recognition, endorsement of any government, or a position on any territorial question.
• The Service does not arbitrate territorial or political disputes.
• Entry names follow common English short forms of the ISO standard and may be adjusted for clarity and safety.
• The ranking is an internet experiment about digital visibility. It measures confirmed contributions — nothing about any country's real standing, merit or people.

Changes and suspensions

• Administrators may temporarily suspend an entry for legal or safety reasons, including sanctions compliance. Suspended entries keep their recorded totals.
• Entries can be added or adjusted when the ISO standard changes.

Corrections

To request a correction to an entry's name or availability, write to singularityingenieria@gmail.com with the entry concerned and the basis for the request.
